About Us
Surgical Management Partners (SMP) was established in 2012 and is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

SMP manages and staffs certain inpatient and outpatient surgical departments for the Erlanger System, including the Plaza outpatient surgery area, outpatient gastrointestinal unit, and inpatient gastrointestinal unit.
​​
SMP has become an integral part of the Erlanger system, currently overseeing over 125 employees with clinical, clerical, and technical roles within their departments.
The goal of SMP is to provide excellent care to their patients, and this is achieved through a collaborative and diverse team.

Open Positions
​OR Scrub Tech — Monday-Friday. No call. Robot experience preferred.

Patient Care Technician Inpatient GI — Prefer applicants with experience. This position supports busy outpatient GI and OR procedural areas. Monday-Friday.
Pre-cert Specialist/Registration — Full-time position available to support a growing business team. The Pre-cert Specialist is responsible for insurance verification and authorization for all GI and OR scheduled procedures. Hours are M-F, no weekends, no call.

OR RN Circulator — Monday-Friday. No call. Robot experience preferred.
